Abstract

Speeches; publications; minutes (1944-1945) of the U.S. Tariff Commission; minutes, reports, and other documents (1934-1949) of various committees concerned with international trade matters; files relating to the United Nations conferences on trade and employment held at London, England (1946) and Geneva, Switzerland (1947); and other papers, concerning Edminster's career as a specialist in the problems of international trade, including service as chief economic analyst (1936-1938), Division of Trade Agreements, U.S. Dept. of State, special assistant to the secretary of state (1938-1942), as a member of the U.S. Tariff Commission (1942-1956), and as vice chairman of the commission (1942-1953).
